Location: Zug, CH
Remarks: Project 2004, Realization 2005
The first two floors and the basement of the more than 400-year-old town house serve as a gallery. The third floor and the two-story roof with an extension from the 50s are converted into an apartment with a beautiful balcony overlooking the old town of Zug. On the third floor, the traditional small parts are retained. The attic was completely emptied and the self-supporting roof structure was exposed to create unusually large and bright living spaces in the medieval house.
